A wool felt crown, especially one that’s hand-crafted and made with care, is a beautiful birthday tradition that invites us to slow down and add magic to a yearly rhythm.

My love of this tradition grew out of my learnings in Steiner education. In this philosophy, the crown honours the journey this unique child has taken around the sun this year, and serves as a tangible representation of their growth, marking a significant milestone.

While we share many other wonderful celebrations with others, our birthday is our own, and a day to feel special.
